Watch and Learn

Part of the passive cooling systems in many older buildings in India included open, glassless window grates that allowed cooling ventilation, along with the occasional bird visitor. This corvid is based on ones who would visit during hot Mumbai afternoons, poking around for food or baubles before making a noisy exit through the opposite grate.
